QUOTING COACH HICKS
"We had a day of ups and downs, but our ups were really big ups and we want to go into tomorrow with that in mind. Nicolette and Kennedy started us off with some points on the board. We qualified a lot of competitors for the finals tomorrow and with the addition of the shot put and the 3,000-meter run, we still have the opportunity to finish up strong as a team!"
