JMU's top rebounder was sophomore forward Toia Giggetts (Norfolk, Va./Lake Taylor), who tied for the game's leading rebounder with a season-high 11.  Burkholder finished with nine rebounds.

W&M was led senior forward Emily Correal (Venetia, Pa./Peter's Township), who tied for game scoring and rebounding honors with 21 points and 11 rebounds.  She was the only W&M player to score in double figures.

The Dukes hit their first five shots, four of them 3-pointers, to jump out to a 13-6 lead with just 2:52 gone in the opening half.  JMU led by as many as 13 twice in the first period, the last time at 25-12 with 10:40 left.

W&M got no closer than seven (the last time at 34-27 with 3:47 left) in the first half and trailed 41-31 at halftime.  JMU's lead slipped to eight at 43-35 with 18:55 to play, but from 18:40 on the Dukes held a double-digit advantage.
