Dukes End Shutout Stretch: In the 3-1 loss to Hofstra on Sept. 30, JMU lost its third straight game. However, the Dukes' goal vs. Hofstra ended a stretch of two scoreless games for the team.
CAA Tournament Not Out of Reach: The Dukes have a 1-3-0 CAA record, but it's still early in league play. JMU has lost nine total games this fall for the first time since the 2006 season. However, that 2006 JMU team finished with a 11-9-2 record and was runner-up in the CAA Tournament.
Four Opponents Projected for NCAA Field: Four JMU opponents are projected to be among the 64 teams in the 2012 NCAA Tournament field, according to the website TopDrawerSoccer.com.
