    Game Statistics

    PRINCETON, N.J., March 19, 2008 -- Unbeaten and seventh-ranked (Inside Lacrosse) Princeton improved to 5-0 as the Tigers upended 15th-ranked James Madison 17-10 in women's lacrosse Wednesday afternoon at the Class of 52 Stadium.

    The Dukes' record slipped to 3-4 as JMU lost to a Top 20 team for the fourth time this season.

    The game was tied at 3-3 after 10 minutes of play, but Princeton then outscored JMU 7-1 to take a 10-4 lead into the halftime break.

    JMU's 10 goals was the most given up by the Tigers this season.  The Dukes scored in double-digits for the fifth game in a row.

    Redshirt sophomore Kim Griffin (Jarrettsville, Md./North Harford) and Annie Wagner (Annapolis, Md./St. Paul's/Johns Hopkins) were JMU's points leaders with four as each contributed two goals and two assists. 

    Senior Julie Stone (Annandale, Va./Annandale) had two goals and an assist, and senior Lauren Bradley (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) also scored twice.

    Princeton was led by Ashley Amo with four goals and four assists.  Christine Casaceli scored three goals and added an assist.

    For the game Princeton out-shot JMU 30-26 and had 20 ground balls to 17 for the Dukes.  JMU had the advantage in draw controls 19-10.

    JMU senior goalkeeper Kelly Wetzel (Catonsville, Md./Mount De Sales) made nine saves.  Princeton starting goalkeeper Kaitlyn Perrell had six saves in 46:05 and reserve Erin Tochihara had one save in 13:55.
