2009: Voted All-CAA Third Team for his play during the season... ranked second on the squad and ninth in the CAA with 87 tackles, eight tackles for loss and one sack... posted a career-high 16 tackles and one tackle for loss in the season-ending win over Towson... led the team in its season-opener at Maryland with 10 tackles (seven unassisted), including a sack of nine yards... also had two games with 11 tackles each in home victories over VMI and Maine... also had nine tackles at William and Mary... had at least six tackles in eight of 11 contests on the season.

2008: Strong safety starter who was named CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year... took part in 65 tackles, tied for third on team... had 24 unassisted tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, a shared quarterback sack and three fumble recoveries (tied for the CAA lead)... had a season-high 11 tackles, including three solo and a shared stop for loss, vs. Montana... had seven stops vs. Appalachian State (3 solo) and Wofford (2 solo)... credited with six tackles (4 solo) at Villanova and five vs. Maine and Richmond... recovered two fumbles at Duke and one at Villanova to set up a 73-yard JMU touchdown drive.

High School: As a First Colonial senior had 89 tackles and caught 11 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns... had two interceptions, two sacks and five forced fumbles... football Most Valuable Player as a junior and his track team’s Most Valuable Performer as a junior and senior... district runner-up in the high jump as a junior.
