    At JMU: Fourth-year Duke who has worked behind veteran quarterbacks for three seasons and who is expected to contend with redshirt freshman Justin Thorpe for playing time... has a strong work ethic and makes good decisions and is a player who runs well, is elusive and who has developed his arm strength, said offensive coordinator Jeff Durden.

     

    2009: Finshed the season only playing in five games due to injury with 28 completions for 472 yards and six touchdowns, also rushing 36 times for 177 yards and one touchdown. In the season-opener at Maryland rushed for one touchdown while achieving career highs with 14 rushes, going for 112 yards, including a career-long run of 70 yards... threw 15 passes, compeleting nine, including two for touchdowns, all of which were career highs... reached a career high for total offense, accounting for 253 yards... vs. VMI completed nine of 13 passes for a career-high 214 yards, including a career-long pass for 65 yards... had a career high of three TD passes...vs Liberty completed two passes for 17 yards and ran 12 times for 32 yards...vs Hofstra completed five passes for 19 yards and rushed for 11 yards on four carries...vs Richmond ran three times for three yards and also completed three out of six passes for 68 yards and one touchdown. 

     

    2008: Appeared in each JMU game, working as the team’s second quarterback behind standout Rodney Landers and as the team’s holder for field goal and conversion attempts... ran 31 times for 199 yards and four touchdowns and completed 17 of 32 passes for 110 yards and a score... saw his most-extensive playing time in the NCAA playoffs vs. Montana when Landers didn’t return after a late-first-half injury... ran 12 times for a career-high 88 yards and had touchdown carries of 10 and 18 yards... got JMU to within 35-27 with his 18-yard scoring run and two-point conversion carry with 6:10 to play... completed six of 13 passes, both career highs, for a career-high 70 yards vs. Montana... had a career-long completion of 29 yards during the game... ran five times for 33 yards at Towson, seven times for 32 yards vs. Hofstra and three times for 25 yards, including a 17-yard carry, at Duke... had a career-long carry of 25 yards for a touchdown vs. Hofstra... had a one-yard touchdown run vs. North Carolina Central... completed each of his four passes, including a five-yarder to Charlie Newman for a touchdown, vs. Delaware.

     

    2007: JMU's No. 2 quarterback after sitting out 2006 as a freshman redshirt... in seven games hit on five of seven passes for 61 yards and ran nine times for 26 yards... hit on five of six passes for 61 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Hicks, vs. Virginia Military... ran twice for 13 yards in that game.

     

    High School: Threw for 2,000 yards and 24 touchdowns and ran for 500 yards and 10 touchdowns at Centreville... all-district, all-region, all-Examiner, all-metro, and second-team all-state... a Rivals.com top-30 Virginia player.

     

    Personal: Kinesiology major with a sports management concentration... son of former JMU quarterback Mike Dudzik (1978-80).
