    Julien's Canada National Team Bio

    International:
      Ten caps with Canada National Team (six in 2010, four in 2009). 

    2010:  Starter for Canada's Cyprus Cup champion team (Feb. 24-March 3).  Scored game-winners in all three of team's Cyprus Cup pool play wins  (2-1 over Switzerland, 1-0 over England, 2-1 over South Africa). 

    2009:  On Canada National Team roster for three international games (5/29 vs. USA, 7/19 vs. USA, 7/22 vs. USA).  Starter for Canada National Team in Cyprus Cup in March.  Canada National Team training camp 11/3-14/09 in Sunrise, Fla.

    At JMU:  Four-year starter.  Completed her career second on JMU career goals list (44), second on career points list (102) and tied 18th on career assist list (14).  School-record 19 career game-winning goals. 

    2009:  National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Mid-Atlantic Region first team.  Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star second team.  All-conference (CAA) first team.  Among 45 players on Hermann Trophy Watch List for national player of the year.  School season-record seven game-winning goals.  Team leader in goals (14), points (31) and game-winning goals (7).  CAA co-leader in goals (14) and game-winners (7) and second in points (31), points average (1.63) and goals average (0.74).  Tied 15th in NCAA in goals average and 28th in points average.  CAA preseason Player of the Year.  CAA Player of the Week for week ending Nov. 1 (2 goals, 1 assist vs. Virginia Commonwealth).  CAA Player of the Week for week ending Sept. 27 (game-winners vs. George Mason and Towson).  NSCAA National Player of the Week, Soccer America Team of the Week and CAA Player of the Week for week ending Aug. 30 (2 goals vs. Xavier, 3 goals vs. Bucknell).  NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-America second team.  NSCAA/adidas Scholar All-East Region first team.  JMU Athlete of the Year.  JMU/Comfort Inn Invitational all-tournament team.  Team's offensive MVP.  CAA Commissioners Academic Award.  JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete.

    2006:  Virginia (VaSID) Rookie of the Year.  All-CAA tournament team.  Soccer Buzz All-Mid-Atlantic Region All-Freshman Team. CAA All-Rookie Team.  All-state (VaSID) second team.  Team leader in goals and points.  CAA Rookie of the Week for week ending Sept. 17 (1 assist in win over George Washington, game-winning goal in win over Georgetown). JMU team's Rookie of the Year.

    High school and club:  Ottawa Fury Under-17 MVP as a senior.  Played in North American Finals of Super-Y League 2004.  Member of the Ottawa Fury Youth Development Squad 2004-06.  Her club team placed fourth at National Cup 2005.  Her high school team placed fourth in Ontario (OFSAA) 2004 and won the district championship (SD&G) and advanced to Eastern Ontario playoffs 2005.  Team MVP as a freshman and sophomore.  Char-Lan's Athlete of the Year as a sophomore, junior and senior.  Multi-sport athlete who also played high school ice hockey, badminton, volleyball, and tennis.  Three-time team MVP in ice hockey and badminton.  Cornwall's Junior Athlete of the Year 2005.  Placed 12th in Ontario in badminton.  Member of national champion provincial ice hockey team.
