JMU This Season:  14-6-2 overall, 8-3-0 (tied second regular-season) in Colonial Athletic Association

    This Week:
    * The Dukes will play at Portland on Saturday, Nov. 22 (10 p.m. EST) in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.  The winner advances to the quarterfinal round to face the winner of the Nov. 21 Rutgers/Stanford game.  Quarterfinal-round matches are scheduled for Nov. 28, 29 or 30.

    * Scouting Portland:  The Pilots have a 19-1 record and are riding a school-record 18-game winning streak.  Portland's only loss of the season was a 1-0 decision to second-ranked UCLA on Aug. 30 at Portland.

The Pilots went 7-0-0 in league play to claim their 10th West Coast Conference championship.

Portland is playing in the NCAA Tournament for the 16th time in the last 17 years.  The Pilots won national championships in 2002 and 2005 and advanced to the quarterfinals in 2004, 2006 and 2007.

The Pilots were ranked third by the NSCAA and fourth by Soccer America and Soccer Buzz in the latest national polls.

Senior midfielder Megan Rapinoe is this year's WCC Player of the Year, freshman Danielle Foxhove won WCC Freshman of the Year honors, and sixth-year head coach Garrett Smith was selected the league's Coach of the Year.

Portland has allowed only six goals all year and has posted 14 shutouts.  The Pilots ranked second nationally in lowest goals-against average (0.298) and third in scoring offense (3.3).

The Pilots' average home attendance this season is 3,517.

    * Career-High Saves for Wszalek:  Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Diane Wszalek made a career-high 11 saves in the Dukes' 1-0 NCAA first-round win over Georgia.
Wszalek made seven of her stops in the second half, including a diving save on a shot by Carrie Patterson in the 77th minute.

Her previous high saves total was eight, in this year's 1-1 double-overtime tie at West Virginia on Sept. 14.
