Before JMU: Played for Matt Candle and the Battlefield Bobcats...advanced to the Regional Tournament in 2007... three-time Coaches Award winner... as a junior, selected to the Hilton Head Sea Hawk Invitational All-Tournament Team... second-team all-district shortstop... as a senior, was awarded all-district shortstop and all-region shortstop... selected to the Manassas Journal All-Extra Team and the Prince William County All-Extra Team... led his team with 26 hits, a .667 batting average, and 12 doubles... achieved the Academic Honor Roll in 2007.

I chose Health Service Administration because I enjoy leading others and being around people who are making a difference.

What are your goals for the 2010 season?
Do whatever I can to help this team reach its full potential

What are your hobbies or interests off the field?
Lifting, golf, tennis, fishing, basketball and spider solitaire

Playing at the regional tournament my freshman year

What is the best advice you have received?
Be aggressive and confident in everything you do.

Play professional baseball and be able to work in a health care system

Who or what influenced you to get involved in baseball?
Playing baseball in the yard as a child with my brothers led me to gain a more serious interest in the game.
