2009-10:

  • Returning starter who again was expected to fill the Dukes' starting point guard role but who missed the season with a knee injury.
  • Was injured during a preseason scrimmage, four days before JMU's opener at Ohio State and had surgery in December.

2008-09:

  • CAA All-Rookie Team selection. Started each JMU game except Jan. 17 at George Mason (sat out after suffering a fall during practice) until injuring a wrist Feb. 18 at Hofstra. Didn't play again until the CAA Tournament.
  • Started both of JMU's CAA Tournament games, averaging 10.5 points and 30.0 minutes. Had a career-high 21 points and tied for the team rebounding high of five vs. Mount St. Mary's in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
  • Played 30 minutes in all but six games before the wrist injury, including 42 at VCU.
  • Reached double figures in scoring 20 times. Led JMU or tied for the team lead in assists 15 times. His 92 assists are JMU's No. 5 all-time freshman mark.
  • Shot 84.6 percent from the foul line, JMU's No. 2 all-time freshman mark behind teammate Andrey Semenov's 86.5 percent mark in 2008-09. Tied for second among CAA players in free throw percentage.
  • Ranked 13th among all CAA players and second among freshmen in assists per game.
  • Had a then-season-high 18 points, six rebounds and three assists vs. Hofstra Jan. 24.
  • At UNC Wilmington, had 14 points. Hit on four of six shots and six of seven free throws, including two with 0:35 left and JMU up 73-71.
  • Hit on three of four free throws during the final 1:07 of JMU's 68-66 win over George Mason Feb. 7.
  • Led JMU with 17 points and seven assists vs. Mississippi Valley State. His field goal put JMU up to stay 48-47 in a 62-54 win.
  • Matched his season assists high at Radford and Old Dominion Jan. 7 (7). At ODU, hit on two free throws at 1:13 and 0:18.
  • Vs. Drexel, gave JMU its first lead since the opening basket, 53-52, with a layup with 3:44 left. Gave JMU a 57-56 lead with a jumper at 1:16 and assisted on Juwann James' basket at 0:44 that put JMU in up to stay 59-58.
  • At William & Mary, had nine points and a team-high five assists. Hit on four straight free throws during the final 1:18.
  • CAA Rookie of the Week Jan. 12 after JMU wins over Drexel, Old Dominion and William & Mary.
  • Had 13 points and a career-best 10 rebounds at Towson.
  • Had 12 points and four assists in JMU's 70-64 win vs. Seton Hall. Hit on two free throws with 0:16 left for the final points.

Before JMU:

  • Spring 2008 signee after Matt Brady's hiring as JMU's head coach.
  • As a Northland High School senior was ranked the No. 16 college prospect among Ohio seniors by Rivals.com.
  • Second Team All-Ohio as a senior when he averaged 14.2 points and eight assists on a 25-1 team. Teams were 46-2 his final two scholastic seasons.
  • Ohio-vs.-Kentucky All-Star Game invitee. First Team All-City and All-District and Second Team All-State as a senior.
