Dr. James Riley Richmond, VA grintin@verizon.net

Dr. Riley's involvement with JMU started when his two children came to campus. 

A practicing orthodontist in Richmond, Virginia, Jim became more involved at JMU over the years.  He served on the JMU Parents Council for five years, and was its Chairperson in 2004-05.

Jim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1970, and graduated from the VCU-MCV Dental School in 1974 and the VCU-MCV Dental School specializing in Orthodontics, in 1976.  Married to the former Julia Anne Wright, Jim and Julie enjoy attending JMU sports and cultural events.
