Nancy Lantz
Harrisonburg, VA

Nancy graduated from Madison College in 1971, and immediately began working in the field of education.  Following the completion of her Masters degree in Counseling in 1974, Nancy began working in the Rockingham County Public School system.  Fifteen years later, Nancy began her career as an elementary Principal; and after completing her Education Specialist degree in Administration and Leadership from the University of Virginia, she currently administers the Title I and Preschool programs for Rockingham County.

An active proponent and volunteer for JMU, Nancy has served the University in a variety of ways, including the co-chair for fundraising for the Leeolou Alumni Center, and being named co-recipient of the Alumni of the Year award. 

Nancy has two children; Jason and Crystal, and remains an active and vocal supporter of JMU Athletics.
