HARRISONBURG, Va. - The James Madison University Athletics Department announced today that a limited number of hospitality suites will be available in the expanded Bridgeforth Stadium for the 2011 season. Suites may be secured by Duke Club Members who give at or above the Royal level and commit to a four-year agreement.
Sixteen game tickets (twelve permanent outdoor stadium seats per suite) and four parking passes will be included with the purchase. All sixteen individuals in the suite will have access to the amenities and services within the Club Level located directly below the suite level and accessible by private staircase and elevator.
"These are a premium addition to a great football experience here at JMU," Director of Athletics Jeff Bourne said. "These suites will give the patrons the best that we have to offer in a game-day experience, with not only private indoor and outdoor viewing areas with two televisions and other furnishings, but access to our Club Level and all its amenities and benefits. It will be a great place to be, whether used for personal enjoyment or corporate events, and be a part of the enhanced atmosphere at the renovated Bridgeforth Stadium. It is going to be a very special area and a welcomed part of the new level of excitement here this season."
Each suite will also have four interior moveable stool seats, two televisions (one interior and one exterior), wet bar with sink, Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator/ice chest, coat rack, secure storage and separate climate control. Further, the suite holder will get the choice of one sofa, two swivel chairs and two tables or two bar-top tables with six additional stools.
"We are pleased to offer this level of football hospitality in Harrisonburg," Assistant Athletic Director for Development David Biancamano said. "Local fans and businesses can enjoy this premier football option without driving to Northern Virginia or another part of the state. For those that do travel for gameday Saturday's, a hospitality suite is the next level of in-game enjoyment."
Similar to football season tickets, the May 15 deadline and Priority Point system will be used to determine availability and location assignment. Individuals wishing to select a suite must submit a non-binding letter of intent to the Duke Club Office by May 15. Following the priority deadline, ranking among those requesting a suite will determine eligibility to select based on the available suites.
Individuals may partner to secure a suite but JMU Athletics will require one individual to serve as the point person amongst the group.
Donley's, the construction company managing the project, has built a model suite in the basement of the football stadium for potential suite holders to view. The model suite, complete with ceiling fixtures, flooring, cabinetry, finished wet bar with refrigerator, furniture and exterior seats, is available to see on a first-come, first-served basis on the following dates: April 8, April 9, April 12 and April 15.
The annual cost of the suite is $20,000, in addition to the Royal Level Duke Club gift of $5,500.
