The Duke Club hosted its annual Rep Kickoff on Saturday, January 15 prior to the Dukes taking on UNC Wilmington in a 7:00 pm tipoff.  Over 30 Duke Club Reps made the trip to Harrisonburg to celebrate their hardwork in 2010 and gear up for an exciting 2011.

Over 30 Duke Club Reps attended the afternoon to learn about the Duke Dog Pride program, changes in the Rep system and more updates on JMU Athletics.  Graduate Duke Club President, John Scott '10, presented on the importance of reaching out to current JMU students as well as recent graduates to get them invovled in the Duke Club.  Finally, Jon McNamara '05, Richmond Chapter President, gave the Reps advice on how to keep your chapter productive, create cohesiveness amongst your members and new ideas for fundraising events.

The Duke Club also announced changes to the Rep system where Reps will receive their bump after signing up 5 new members or securing $1,000 new dollars for the Duke Club.  As a part of the Duke Dog Pride campaign, Reps will also receive additional prizes for signing up 5, 10 and 15 new members.
