The Central Virginia Duke Club chapter hosted A Night with Mickey Matthews on Wednesday, May 12 at Timberwood Grill in Charlottesville. A crowd of JMU alumni and friends enjoyed cocktails and hor d'oeuvres while mingling with Coach Mickey Matthews. The night was highlighted by a silent auction and a live auction of an official JMU football helmet signed by Coach Matthews going for $1,000. The proceeds from all auction items are put towards funding student-athlete scholarships and the general operating budget.
We look forward to hosting many more functions in the Charlottesville area. Special thanks to the Timberwood Grill for allowing us to host our event there.
