The former three-time Colonial Athletic Association champion swam the anchor leg for the team and turned in a 50-meter split of 26.78 seconds and a total time of 56.12 in heat two of the event.

The Icelandic team’s total time of 4:07.09 did not qualify for tomorrow evening's finals as they finished eighth in their heat.
