  • Won the 200 butterfly against American/Georgetown/VMI (2:07.10)
  • Finished 6th in the 200 butterfly at the CAA Championships in a career-best time of 2:01.99.
  • Set her career-best time in the 100 butterfly (57.19) at the CAA Championships

As a junior:

  • Finished eighth in the 200 butterfly at the CAA Championships (2:02.91) in the second-fastest time in program history
  • Swam the 50 free, 200 IM, 400 IM, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 buttefly during the year

 

As a sophomore:

  • JMU Athletic Director Scholar-Athlete
  • Won the 200 butterfly against Marshall (2:03.76) in the fourth-fastest time in program history

As a freshman:

  • JMU Dean's List Spring 2009
  • JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete
  • CAA Commissioner's Academic Award
  • Placed second in 200 butterfly at Bucknell Invitational (2:05:54) for sixth-best time in JMU history
  • Fourteenth in 200 butterfly (2:05.90) at the CAA Championships
  • Helped her team place eighth and set a school record in the 400 yard medley relay (3:50.57) at the CAA Championships

Why did you choose JMU? 
The team was so welcoming and nice, plus I love the mountains!

What is your major? 
Communications, minor in Spanish

What do you enjoy most about JMU Swimming and Diving?
We are truly a family. That means good and bad. no matter what, I know these girls are here for me. And, holding Samm Holland's hand as we dive in before every single practice.

What are your goals for this season?
Help my team to the best of my ability, train as hard as I can, and to show our competition what Duke Dog Pride is all about.

What are your favorite things about JMU?
Mongolian Grill in Top Dog, the APC, football games, and all the new friends I've made. 

What is your favorite place on campus?
Dingledine for life!!!

What are your favorite:

What do you want to do after college? 
I would like to work my way up in Disney and eventually become the Director of Communications there.

What is your favorite event and why? 
200 fly, it's the perfect distance and my favorite stroke... not sure why.

What other activities or hobbies do you enjoy? 
Reading, stalking people on facebook, and hanging out with my jmu s'women of course!

The best part of your day at JMU is...
Eating at Dhall after each practice, and in particular, Cheesy Thursday.
