HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison cheerleading worked with three local high school squads this past weekend at an event hosted by Stuart Hall School in Staunton. In attendance were Stuart Hall, United Christian Academy and Faith Christian.
The JMU Cheerleaders taught the squads how to get the crowd going and critiqued each squad's performance to make them more effective.
"Having the opportunity to be someone that all of the teams and coaches looked up to for advice and knowledge, and to be a representative of not only James Madison University, but our national champion cheerleading team, was the most rewarding part of it all," said senior Stephanie La Testa.
Come see the national champions Sunday when JMU women's basketball hosts Delaware for a Pink Out at 2 p.m. in the Convocation Center.
