Record:  7-5, 1-1 CAA
Results:  Includes a 16-11 road loss at top-ranked Maryland and an 11-10 road defeat at Ohio State, a team receiving votes in this week's Inside Lacrosse media poll.  CAA win at ODU (15-6) and loss at W&M (12-11 OT).
Conference:  Colonial Athletic Association (Drexel, Delaware, Hofstra, JMU, Old Dominion, Towson, William and Mary).  CAA coaches voted the defending champion, Towson, to finish first in the CAA this year, followed by the JMU Dukes.
Preseason Conference Coaches Poll:  Picked fifth
Of Note:  The Pride is 5-1 at home this season with the only loss a 9-7 decision to Yale on March 9.  Sophomore Brittain Altomare leads the CAA in points (4.0) and assists (1.83) average.

Coach Reaches Milestone:  The Dukes' April 5 win over Delaware was the 125th career victory and 75th JMU victory for coach Shelley Klaes-Bawcombe.  Her career record now stands at 125-79 in 12 seasons, and her JMU record is 75-44in seven seasons. 

Dukes in the National Rankings:  JMU is receiving votes in both the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Inside Lacrosse polls this week.

Ancarrow Consistent on Attack:  Redshirt senior attacker Casey Ancarrow has scored at least two goals in 11 of JMU's 12 games.  In her career in a JMU uniform, she has a point in 67 of her 68 games.  That includes a goal in all four games she played as a true freshman in 2009, a goal or an assist in 20 games as a redshirt freshman in 2010, a goal in all 19 games in 2011, and a goal in the first 13 of her 14 games in 2012.  The only game she's without a point is the April 13, 2012 game vs. William and Mary, in which she suffered a season-ending knee injury early in the first half.

Healy Leads CAA Stats:  Sophomore goalkeeper Schylar Healy leads the CAA in saves (9.58 avg.) and save percentage (.483).  She's seventh in saves average and 10th in save percentage among NCAA Division I goalies.
     Casey Ancarrow ranks second in the CAA in both goals average (2.9) and points average (3.6).  She ranks 30th in the NCAA in goals average.

Ancarrow Continues to Move Up:  With three goals and an assist last week, Casey Ancarrow now has career totals of 153 goals, 57 assists and 210 points.  She moved from sixth to fifth on JMU's career goals list, passing Megan Riley ('99) with 151 goals.  Ancarrow, who is averaging just under three goals per game, is nine goals away from sole possession of third place.  Third place is currently shared by Julie Martinez ('00) and Lisa Staedt ('03) with 161 goals each.
     Ancarrow is six points away from sole possession of fifth place on the career points list.  Martinez currently is fifth with 215 points.
