Ancarrow scored five goals, tying her career-high, in the Dukes' March 31 16-6 home win over George Mason.
The Dukes' attacker, who played only about half of the Mason game, also contributed an assist along with a game-high three ground galls, a team-high two draw controls and one caused turnover.
With JMU trailing 3-2 midway through the first half of the contest, Ancarrow scored three of JMU's next four goals and assisted on the other goal to start an 8-0 run that gave JMU a 10-3 lead at halftime. She scored the final goal of the run as well.
Ancarrow increased her career goals total to 112 and moved from tied 16th to 14th on JMU's career scoring list. She also upped her career points total to 159 and moved from 16th to tied 13th on JMU's career points list.
She has now scored a point in each of her 53 career games at JMU.
The defending CAA champion Dukes continue league play at home with games this week against Hofstra on Friday, April 6 (5 p.m.), and against Drexel on Sunday, April 8 (1 p.m.).
