This Week:  JMU plays its final regular-season game at home against #11/13 Virginia.  The game was originally scheduled for March 23 but a lightning storm forced play to end in the first half.  Wednesday's game time has been changed from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. because of the threat of evening thunderstorms.

Audio and Video Coverage of JMU-Virginia Game:  Coverage of the Virginia at JMU game will include live play-by-play audio free of charge on
MadiZONE.  A video archive of the game will be published on Thursday, April 28, for On Demand access

Scouting Virginia:  The Atlantic Coast Conference member has a 9-6 record with all six of its losses coming against opponents ranked in the top nine in the latest IWLCA poll (#1 Maryland, #3 North Carolina--two losses, #4 Duke, #7 Loyola, #9 Boston College).  Four of the Cavaliers' wins have been against Top 20 or former Top 20 opponents (#15 Princeton, William and Mary, #18 Syracuse, vote-getter Harvard).

The Series vs. Virginia:  Virginia leads the series 27-12-1.  The Dukes beat Virginia 10-9 last year in Charlottesville for JMU's first win against the Cavaliers in nine years.

CAA Standings:
As of games through April 24 JMU and Towson have completed CAA play and are tied for first in the CAA standings, both with 6-1 records.
By virtue of its regular-season win over JMU, Towson earned the top seed and the right to host the upcoming CAA Tournament.  The Dukes will be the number two seed in the four-team tournament.
William and Mary (4-2) has also clinched a berth in the CAA tournament, but W&M's seed and the final tournament berth have not been determined.  Old Dominion (3-3) and Drexel (3-3) are both contending for the last tournament spot.  ODU hosts William and Mary on April 27, and Drexel plays at Hofstra on April 28.
