Parking instructions for this weekend’s nine home events during Homecoming Weekend

Swimming & Diving
Friday, Nov. 1 – Fans are directed to park in the R1 lot on Dukes Drive. Parking is free to swimming fans, but overnight parking is not permitted in the R1 lot. The lot closes at 10 p.m., so fans are requested to clear the lot by that time.

JMU will provide a shuttle running from the R1 lot to Godwin Hall from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.

G Lot next to Godwin Hall opens to swimming and diving starting at 5 p.m. as well. This lot also closes at 10 p.m.

ADA Parking – All vehicles with ADA permits are still required to have JMU permits to park on campus, but they are not restricted by permit type as long as they have an ADA pass. All ADA sports are open to vehicles with ADA permits, provided they have JMU permits as well.

Saturday, Nov. 2 – Swimming and diving fans receive free access to the R1 lot. Fans must mention to the parking attendant that they are there for the swim meet for access to the lot. A shuttle will again be available starting at 7 a.m. and running to 11 a.m. All vehicles should be moved from the lot after the event.

Volleyball
Friday, Nov. 1 – G Lot next to Godwin Hall opens to volleyball fans at 5 p.m. Overflow parking is directed to the R1 lot. A shuttle will run to and from the R1 lot until 10 p.m. Both G Lot and R1 close at 10 p.m. and fans are requested to remove their vehicles at that time.

Sunday, Nov. 3 – Standard parking for volleyball matches. G Lot is open to volleyball fans with overflow directed to P Lot and R1.
