2010: Started eight games at quarterback for JMU...  Went 72-for-122 with five touchdowns and 858 yards passing while adding 107 carries for 385 yards and a touchdown rushing... Had a career-high 93 yards rushing on 28 carries while going 9-for-16 for 149 yards through the air on a windy day in the NCAA playoff win at Eastern Kentucky... Was 21-for-38 for 182 yards, all career highs, and one touchdown and one interception while also catching a 35-yard touchdown pass in the NCAA Second Round game at North Dakota State... Went 11-for-15 for 152 yards and a touchdown in season-opener at North Carolina... Ran for 51 yards on eight carries and added 47 yards passing and a touchdown in home-opener against Central Connecticut State... Threw for 141 yards on 13-of-18 passing and rushed for 30 yards in win at Liberty... Was 3-for-4 passing for 69 yards and a touchdown and ran for 81 yards on 14 attempts in win at William & Mary... : Played in all 11 games and started eight as a redshirt freshman... Earned Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year honors after rushing 148 times for team highs of 654 yards and five touchdowns while going 82-for-145 through the air for 1,260 yards and six scores... Broke the school record for freshman quarterback rushing yards in a season, second in freshman passing and first in freshman total offense at JMU... Won or shared a weekly league player award four times during the 2009 season... Had the best game of the year in leading the Dukes to a win at Delaware, going 11-for-15 for a team season-best 262 yards and one touchdown through the air with 11 rushes for 42 yards and another score... Named Co-CAA Rookie of the Week for his play against VMI, rushing 10 times for 53 yards and one touchdown and going 7-for-11 for 127 yards and one touchdown through the air... Posted a season-high 96 yards and one score on 18 carries at Hofstra... Had a solid day in the win over Maine, rushing 17 times for 83 yards and one touchdown while going 9-for-13 for 133 passing yards and another score... Was 14-for-21 for 259 passing yards and a team season-best three touchdowns in the win over Towson, earning Rookie of the Week honors... The Towson win included a 65-yard strike to Kerby Long for a touchdown, tying for the longest pass reception of the year for JMU... Threw for more than 100 yards in a game on six occasions while also posting five games with 65 rushing yards or more.
