- Gary Clark Award (JMU's Offensive Performer of the Year) - Redshirt freshman Dae'Quan Scott
- Charles Haley Award (JMU's Defensive Performer of the Year) - Junior linebacker Pat Williams and redshirt freshman linebacker Stephon Robertson
- Linemen of the Year - Seniors Ronnell Brown (Defensive) and Theo Sherman (Offensive)
- Challace McMillin Award (Presented to a JMU football player who has been chosen as the squad's special teams player of the year) - Redshirt freshman Dae'Quan Scott
- Bob Vetzer Memorial Award (Presented annually to a JMU football player who best exemplifies the characteristics of determination, dedication and leadership) - Junior safety Vidal Nelson
- Casey Carter Academic Achievement Award (Presented to a JMU football player who has exhibited the most significant academic improvement over his career) - Senior running back Jamal Sullivan
- Doug West Memorial Award (Presented annually to a JMU football player, who has been a member of the Dukes' scout team, for his effort and dedication - Josh Hogan (Defense) and Nate Kepa (Offense)
- Hess-Green Award (Presented annually to a JMU football player who has returned to the field of play, overcoming a significant injury) - Senior defensive lineman Max Alexandre
- John Kraus Memorial Award (Presented Annually to an individual who was originally a walk-on JMU football player and who exemplified the characteristics of spirt, determination, leadership, scholarship, work ethic and love of the game) - Senior defensive lineman Nick Emmons
