Before JMU:

• Competed in the NCSA junior nationals in the 100 and 200 backstroke as well as the 100 butterfly
• 2011 All-State selection
• Two-time Team MVP
• Viva Loudoun Athlete of the Month in 2011
• Also played volleyball at Freedom High School
