2012: Transfer to JMU that enrolled in the spring semester and participated in spring drills

Prior to JMU: Spent his first two years at Maryland, playing as redshirt freshman... In 2011 saw action in 11 games with starts in six at safety... Tied for sixth on the team with 47 tackles... Made his first career start against Towson due to a season-ending injury to Matt Robinson... Recorded a career-high 11 tackles, six of them solo (also a career best), with a half tackle for loss against Towson... Posted five tackles against Georgia Tech... Made nine tackles against Clemson... Had a game-high eight tackles, matching a career best with six solo stops, against Florida State... Had five stops vs. Boston College... Redshirted his freshman year at Maryland.

High School: A SuperPrep All-American as a senior at Wise... 2009 consensus All-State selection...
