2011: Played in 11 games as a true freshman, all coming off the bench... Had 10 tackles on the year, with four solos, 3.5 sacks for 29 yards of loss and three forced fumbles... Had a season-high four tackles with 2.5 sacks for 17 yards and two forced fumbles in the home win over Richmond... Also had three tackles in his first collegiate gamea t North Carolina.

High School: Spent the last year at Fork Union Military Academy... Played both defensive end and wide receiver for the Ocean Lakes Dolphins and Coach Chris Scott... Named Virginian-Pilot First-Team All-Beach District and Second-Team All-Eastern Region his senior year at defensive end at Ocean Lakes after finishing with 57 tackles, 10 sacks and a fumble return for touchdown.
