JMU out-rebounded Lenoir-Rhyne 51-29 and shot 44.6 percent (33-74) from the floor. The Bears connected on just 25 percent (11-45) of their field-goal attempts and committed 25 turnovers to just 13 turnovers for the Dukes.
The Dukes open regular-season play on the road at Virginia on Nov. 9 (7 p.m.) before playing their home opener against Quinnipiac on Nov. 11 (1 p.m.).
