Another All-America Honor for JMU Women's Basketball's Evans

HARRISONBURG, Va., April 4, 2011 -- Full Court Press, an online women's basketball publication, has named James Madison senior guard Dawn Evans (Clarksville, Tenn./Northeast) to its All-America Team.

Balloting for the teams involved Full Court Press correspondents and analysts from across the country.

Evans set JMU and Colonial Athletic Association career scoring records with 2,667 points.  She led her team to its second consecutive CAA championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, was selected the tournament Most Outstanding Player at the CAA Tournament for the second year in a row, and was a unanimous choice for CAA Player of the Year.

She has also been named Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention and Women's Basketball Coaches Association State Farm All-America Honorable Mention this season.
