Fresh off sweeping Old Dominion for the first time since the 1999-2000 season, James Madison will look to complete its second sweep of the season by traveling to UNCW on Monday for a 7 p.m. Colonial Athletic Association game.

Last time the Dukes (11-10, 5-3 CAA) and Seahawks (8-11, 3-4 CAA) got together, JMU had three players score at least 12 points and held all but senior forward Keith Rendleman to eight points or less. JMU eventually won that January 9 game by a score of 78-50, its largest margin of victory this season.

Senior guard A.J. Davis posted the first double-double of his career during the last matchup, netting 16 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. He also tallied one assist, two steals and one block. Davis scored seven points in limited action on Saturday against Old Dominion and enters Monday's game needing 15 points to reach 1,000 in his career.

Andre Nation has had the hot hand on the team recently. The freshman guard has averaged 11.7 points, five rebounds and two blocks over the last three games and remains one of only three freshmen to currently reside among the Colonial Athletic Association's top 30 scorers.

Nation is one of a trio of freshman guards that give JMU reliable minutes. Fellow starter Ron Curry holds a team-best 1.8 assist-to-turnover ratio and has cracked double-digit scoring in two of the last four games.  Curry also tied a career-high six assists on Wednesday in the Dukes' 64-50 win over Delaware.

Rounding out the threesome is Charles Cooke, who missed four games from January 12-23 but returned to play 20 minutes in the win over Old Dominion. Cooke played a limited role on Saturday but sank two of his three attempts from behind the arc.

UNCW's January 9 loss to JMU capped a four-game losing streak, but the Seahawks have won three of four since then. After knocking off second-place George Mason on January 12, UNCW rattled off wins over ODU and Hofstra. The Seahawks can move up to .500 in conference play with a win.

The Seahawks are still led by Rendleman, a dominant force in the paint and a double-double machine. Rendleman has had 10 double-doubles this season, most recently on Wednesday at Georgia State, where he tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds and shot 82 percent (9/11) from the field. He scored 17 points in the first game between the two schools earlier this season.

JMU has lost four straight conference road games and is 1-7 in true road games this year.
