Georgetown: The Hoyas are 2-0 after wins at home over George Washington (2-0 on Aug. 17) and
on the road at Delaware (2-0 on Aug. 19).

were picked to finish third behind Notre Dame and Louisville in the Big East
Conference's seven-team National Division, as voted by the league's
coaches. Last season Georgetown won a
school regular-season record 15 games en route to a 15-6-0 overall record.

Temple: The Owls tied
Stony Brook 1-1 in a season-opening road game on Aug. 19 and will face Hofstra
in the first round of the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Tournament on Aug. 24
before playing JMU. Temple was picked to finish 16th in the
16-team Atlantic 10 Conference.

Lombardo Gets Win #350: In the first
regular-season game played at JMU's new athletic and recreation complex,
University Park, JMU coach Dave Lombardo collected his 350th career victory,
as the Dukes beat Marshall 2-1 in overtime on Aug. 19.
Lombardo increased his 30-year
career record to 350-205-40.
The only coach in the 23-year
history of the JMU soccer program, Lombardo has a record of 272-170-32 with the
Dukes.
Lombardo ranks sixth among active
NCAA Division I coaches in coaching victories.
Wilson
Moves Up on Career Lists: On Aug. 19 vs. Marshall, junior Lauren Wilson scored her 17th career
goal and moved into sole possession of 15th place on JMU's career goals
list. She had formerly shared 15th place
with three other players.
With a goal and an assist in the
Marshall game, Wilson increased her career points total to 42 and moved from
25th place to tied for 22nd place on JMU's all-time points list.

Projected for NCAA Field: JMU is projected to be among the 64 teams in
the 2012 NCAA Tournament field, according to the website TopDrawerSoccer.com.
The weekly rankings are a running
attempt to project the postseason NCAA Tournament qualifiers, including every
automatic conference berth.
