HARRISONBURG, Va., April 29, 2011 -- JMU women's soccer player Diane Wszalek (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) is among 247 collegiate and high school athletes to receive All-American Strength and Conditioning recognition.
The award was presented by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Wszalek, whose JMU strength coach is Lee Rowland, was named to the NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team, selected the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament Most Outstanding Player and named All-CAA First Team.
The redshirt senior goalkeeper set school records for season shutouts (8), career goals-against average (1.128), career solo shutouts (24) and career total shutouts (30).
