Rachel Ivey is a freshman defender from South Riding, Va. Rachel, who wears uniform number 28, not only can play soccer, but she also can slalom ski and wake board.

My dream job is to be a criminal profiler.

I chose to come to JMU because it's a great school academically, and I love the environment and soccer team.

My favorite non-soccer memory is going on vacation with my family to Bermuda.

My favorite soccer memory is winning the State Cup back to back with my club team.

Something about me that would surprise people is I can slalom ski and wake board.

The accomplishment of which I am proudest is playing soccer at JMU.

My favorite thing about playing soccer is being a part of a team and working hard for each other.

A quote that inspires/motivates me is "To get something you've never had, you must do what you've never done."

A person who is an inspiration to me is my club soccer coach, Nadir, because he played soccer at JMU, and he is successful at doing what he loves.

The most played artist on my iPod is Luke Bryan, because his music reflects my easy-going lifestyle.

A way that I relax is visiting our lake house in Lake Anna.

One of the top items on my bucket list is to visit Greece.
