  • One run on six hits in William and Mary finale
  • First career complete game with career-high nine strikeouts in series-clinching Sunday win at VCU

  • Improved to 7-1 after 6 1/3 innings of relief, allowingtwo runs on three hits with seven strikeouts in middle game of UNCW series
  • Six innings of relief at Virginia Tech as JMUrallied for the win after trailing 3-0. Matched career high of nine strikeouts and earned eighth victory
  • Second save of the season with three innings in middle Towson game
  • Earned four-inning save at Northeastern allowing three hits with two walks and striking out three
  • Earned CAA All-Tournament honors with five total shutout innings spanning two appearances, including a four-inning save in 13-7 win over UNCW
  • Pitched 7 1/3 innings of relief in NCAA regional opener vs. FIU allowing just two runs on three hits with five strikeouts while picking up ninth win of the season as JMU rallied to win
  • Champion of knockout game after a JMU basketball game that broke Guinness World Record for largest game of knockout
  • Played the 2011 summer with the Holyoke Blue Sox in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. Joined the team late in the summer and had a 5.56 ERA in 11 1/3 innings.

As a freshman:

  • Starting pitcher who spent much of the season in weekend rotation
  • In all games played for 2010,ranked eighthin the CAA for fewest walks allowed (20) and twelfth in fewest home runs allowed (6)
  • Finished the 2010 season with four wins and three losses and 41 strikeouts in 54 1/3 innings
  • Made collegiate debut against #12 Coastal Carolina
  • First JMU win with highs of six innings and five strikeouts in 14-7 win at North Florida
  • Snapped two-game losing skid with win at ODU, allowing two earned runs on eight hits in five innings
  • Four runs allowed in start at Liberty, though all unearned
  • Picked up first win in a month with five innings in a start at Hofstra
  • Four innings pitched in relief at VCU allowing two runs on four hits
  • Closed the season with one of his best performances, allowing one run and five hits with three strikeouts in six innings of relief against the Rams at the CAA Tournament.
  • Played summer 2010 with the Bridgewater Reds of the Rockingham County Baseball League

  • Played for Jesse Lohr and the Orange County High School Hornets
  • Senior year, led Orange County to state quarterfinals in both basketball and baseball, falling to eventual state champion in each
  • First Team as a pitcher and first baseman in Jefferson District, First Team Region 2 pitcher and first base, honorable mention All State pitcher and First Team All State first baseman, Free Lance StarAll Area Athlete
