Dukes Picked Second in CAA:
  CAA coaches picked JMU to finish second behind defending champion Towson in the 2013 league standings.  The Dukes won the CAA title in 2010 and 2011 and lost 8-7 at Towson in the 2012 title game.

Ancarrow is Preseason CAA Player of the Year:  Senior attacker Casey Ancarrow was selected the CAA preseason Player of the Year for the second year in a row.  Ancarrow was also voted the CAA Player of the Year at the conclusion of the 2012 regular season.
     Ancarrow was joined on the 2013 preseason all-conference team by junior midfielder Amy Roguski, senior defender Amanda Matthews and sophomore goalkeeper Schylar Healy.
