RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 4, 2013 -- James Madison women's basketball player Precious Hall (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay) has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week for the week ending Feb. 3.

Hall scored 10 points and had four assists in a 75-61 win at Towson on Jan. 31.  She then tallied a team-high 19 points, one below her career high, in a 68-63 victory at William and Mary on Feb. 3.

In last week's games she shot 52.6 percent (10-19) from the field, including 3-for-7 (42.9%) from 3-point range.  Hall also converted all six of her free-throw attempts last week and had nine rebounds, six assists and three steals in the two games.

The CAA Rookie of the Year candidate won the honor for the fourth time in the last seven weeks.

JMU extended its winning streak to seven games and improved its overall record to 14-7 and its CAA record to 8-1.

The Dukes have home games scheduled this week against North Carolina Wilmington on Feb. 7 and vs. 25th-ranked Delaware on Feb. 10.
