HARRISONBURG, Va., Nov, 30, 2012 -James Madison men's soccer player Bjarki Aðalsteinsson (Kópavogur, Iceland/Menntaskóinn í Kópavogi) has been named to the College Soccer News All-Freshman Team.
The rookie defender was voted to the second team. College Soccer News selected 11 players each to its first and second teams.
Aðalsteinsson earlier received All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team recognition, only the second in the program's history to earn All-CAA First-Team recognition. He started all 19 games and anchored the JMU defense this season.
