HARRISONBURG, Va.- James Madison cheerleading volunteered at Sunnyside, a local retirement community, on Monday March 18.

The JMU cheerleaders interacted with residents and helped them fill out March Madness brackets. There were also games set up for the residents to play while the Dukes cheered them on.

"Sunnyside has a great atmosphere with friendly residents and staff. That is what really makes it enjoyable and memorable. It is great knowing that the effort I made brightened someone's day," said Julianne Balzo, a junior on JMU's cheerleading team.
