As a junior:

  • During the 30-game CAA league schedule, ranked 15th in on-base percentage (.431) and ninth for walks (17)
  • JMU debut vs. Coastal Carolina
  • First JMU hit with single, RBI, walk and two runs vs. Longwood
  • 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs, a double, two walks and two steals vs. Bucknell
  • Five-game hitting streak going 7-for-18 with five runs scored in fourth week of season
  • 2-for-4 with a triple, walk and run scored in W&M finale
  • Season-high three steals in JMU's record-breaking 11-steal day in Georgia State finale to go with a walk, single, two hit by pitches and two runs scored
  • Single, double, run, RBI, steal and hit by pitch vs. Virginia Tech
  • First JMU game with three hits and three runs in Delaware middle game
  • Singled, hit by a pitch and scored a run while extending hit streak to nine games in Delaware finale
  • Went 5-for-10 in ODU series with three walks and three RBI's
  • 6-for-13 in Hofstra series with five runs scored, three doubles and three walks with a career-best six RBI's in finale

Before JMU:

  • Began collegiate career playing for head coach Travis Lallemand and Crowder College (Neosho, Missouri)
  • Roughriders went 42-18 in 2011 and were the No. 1 seed heading into the Region XVI championship before falling in the title game to No. 3 Jefferson
  • Named to All-Region Team as a sophomore
  • Led Crowder with 61 runs scored (23rd in nation) while playing in all 60 games. Hit .295 (67-227) with 16 doubles, five triples, four home runs, 40 RBIs, 26 walks and 28 steals (33rd in nation) in 32 tries
  • As a freshman, set a school record with 91 runs scored and ranked sixth nationally with 41 stolen bases
  • Also hit .319 (69-216) as a freshman with 15 doubles and 37 RBIs as Roughriders advanced to their first Junior College World Series, finishing fifth in the nation
  • Played scholastically for head coach Mark Ballisterri and Benton High School
  • Helped the Panthers to their first 6A state championship as a senior while going 28-2 overall and 14-0 in the South Conference
  • MVP of the 2009 state championship tournament
  • Selected to the Arkansas All-Star game as a senior
  • All-Conference and All-State as a senior
  • Tied school record for pitching victories by going 11-0 as a senior
  • Four-year baseball letterwinner
  • Played the 2011 summer with the Harrisonburg Turks in the Valley League. Roberts hit .250 with three doubles.
