Getting to Know Bryan


What is your major and why did you choose it?

Sociology.  It is very practical and stimulates critical thought.


Why did you choose JMU?

Great school, great program.


What do you enjoy most about JMU baseball?

 My teammates.


What are your goals for this year? 

To stay positive and work hard to rehab my knee quickly and make it back by the end of the season.


What is your favorite pre-game music or ritual?

 A hot, relaxing shower helps me get focused and loose for the game. I can't play unless I'm relaxed.


Do you have a nickname within the team?

 B-Les or B-Le.


What can't you live without?

 McDonalds dollar menu.


What is something most people don't know about you?

 I have had arthritis since I was 11 years old  and was told I could never play sports again.


What activities or hobbies do you enjoy other than baseball?

 I dabble in poetry.


What do you want to do after college?

 Finish writing my book and get it published.
