  • Went 2-for-4 against Liberty scoring twice and hitting his first collegiate home run
  • Got his fifth win of the year by recording the final two outs via strikeout in the ninth as the Dukes came back to beat Delaware in game two

  • Received his second CAA Rookie of the Week honor as he helped the Dukes at the plate going 7-for-11 with a double, a home run, two RBIs, and a walk, as well has earning a victory over UD with the two strikeouts

  • Earned his fourth save of the season against George Mason in game two as he struck out two batters in the final frame
  • Pitched two innings of relief against George Washington allowing just one hit and striking out three batters to earn his sixth win in the extra-inning contest
  • Singled and doubled against VCU in game three including a career-high four RBIs and a run scored
  • Collected a pair of singles in Northeastern opener
  • Three-inning save in middle game against Northeastern, entered 7-5 game and allowed one run on three hits with five strikeouts in 10-6 JMU win
  • 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two runs, and two RBIs in CAA tournament win over GMU
  • Quieted GMU offense for 3 2/3 hitless innings in CAA Tournament before Patriots struck for four runs in ninth with JMU resting other pitchers
  • Capped All-Tournament performance as DH in championship game win over Towson, driving in three runs including third homer of the season
  • 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs in JMU's comeback NCAA win over Charlotte while also pitching the ninth for his sixth save
  • Led all JMU players in postseason with .450 average, two home runs, and nine RBIs.

    Why did you choose JMU?
    Good academics, good baseball, and a good enviornment.

    What is your major, and why did you choose it?
    I chose Sport Management because I would like to work in the field of sport once I complete my senior year at JMU.

    What are your hobbies outside of baseball? 
    I enjoy watching basketball and football.

    Do you have a nickname on the team? How did it come about?
    T Knight.

    What are your goals for the season and what motivates you to reach them? 
    My goal for this season is to get better each day.

    What is your favorite memory of JMU baseball thus far? 
    The dog pile after winning the conference title.

    What team do you want to beat more than any other? 
    I want to beat them all.

    Where is your favorite place to play other then at JMU? 
    I enjoy playing at Northeastern because Boston is a fun area.

    The most fashionable: Ian Haynes.
