RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 24, 2013 - James Madison senior attacker Casey Ancarrow (Jarrettsville, Md./John Carroll) has been selected the Colonial Athletic Association preseason women's lacrosse Player of the Year, according to a vote by the league's head coaches.

Ancarrow, the 2012 CAA Player of the Year and a third-team All-America, returns for her senior season after leading the league with 2.61 goals per game (34 goals) while adding 35 draw controls and 15 ground balls.

She was joined on the all-conference team by junior midfielder Amy Roguski (Sykesville, Md./Liberty), senior defender Amanda Matthews (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) and sophomore goalkeeper Schylar Healy (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty).
