  • Made season debut in final home game against Liberty, recording two outs

As a freshman:

  • JMU Athletics Director Scholar-Athlete
  • CAA Commissioner's Academic Award
  • JMU debut with a scoreless inning of relief against Virginia
  • Two scoreless innings of relief to keep JMU within striking distance in Delaware middle game
  • Allowed two hits but no runs in an inning of work vs. ODU
  • One scoreless inning of relief at Radford

Before JMU:

  • Played for head coach Ed Culicerto and Northside High School, which went 17-4 during senior season
  • Was named First Team Blue Ridge District Outfielder/Pitcher, First Team Region III Outfielder/Pitcher, First Team All-Timesland Outfielder and received Honorable Mention All-State Outfielder
  • As a senior hit .493 with 34 hits, 25 RBIs and going 5-1 on the mound
  • Also played for head coach Tommy Mayers and the Richmond Braves Nationals
  • The Richmond Brave Nationals won the 2009 Tournament of Champions
  • On the Blue Ridge All-District academic team
