Did You Know? JMU is the only team in the six-team CAA Tournament field to have beaten all five of the other participating teams this season. ODU, Delaware and Northeastern have 2-3 records and William and Mary and Georgia State have 1-4 record against the other participating teams.
Sapong is MLS Rookie of the Year: Sporting Kansas City forward and former JMU standout (2007-10) CJ Sapong has won Major League Soccer's Rookie of the Year award.
He led all rookies in points with five goals and five assists and was the only Sporting player to appear in all 34 regular-season matches.

JMU is the number one seed in the CAA Tournament and hosts the event Nov. 10, 11 and 13. The Dukes have a first-round bye and play either No. 4 seed Delaware or No. 5 seed Northwestern in a 7:30 p.m. semifinal on Nov. 11.

The CAA champion receives an automatic bid to the 48-team NCAA Tournament. Pairings are announced at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14.

Dukes at 12 Wins: JMU's current season total of 12 wins is the most by a JMU team since the 2005 team won 12 games. The school record for victories is 20, by the 1994 team.

Martin Gets Career Win 450: The Oct. 19 win at William and Mary gave Dukes' head coach Tom Martin his 450th career victory. Martin is currently the winningest active coach in NCAA Division I soccer. He has a 35-year career record of 452-173-59. His record in 26 JMU seasons is 333-138-49.
In the National Polls: The Dukes dropped from 12th last week to 23rd this week (Nov. 8) in the Soccer America Top 25 poll. Also this week JMU moved from 12th to 20th in the NSCAA coaches Top 25 poll and dropped from the No. 12 spot to No. 20 in the College Soccer News Top 30 poll.
On Oct. 4 JMU made its first national poll appearance of the season (see list below) after beating then No. 25 West Virginia 2-0 on Sept. 28.
In the always-competitive CAA, JMU is one of seven of the league's 12 teams to be ranked or to receive votes in the national polls this season. That includes Old Dominion, which is currently ranked 18th in the NSCAA poll.

Still Unbeaten at Home: JMU takes a 9-0 home record into its Nov. 11 CAA semifinal.
Nine games marks the longest home winning streak for the program since JMU won nine straight home games spanning the 2001 and 2002 seasons. The school record is for consecutive home wins is 13, which has happened on three occasions.
Dukes in the National Stats: Redshirt junior Christian McLaughlin ranks 19th nationally in assist average (0.47) in the latest NCAA National Statistics (games through Nov. 6).
Senior Patrick Innes ranks 17th in goals average (0.69) and 20th in points average (1.5).
As a team JMU is 15th in winning percentage (0.735), 20th in shutout percentage (0.47) and 40th in scoring offense (1.71).
JMU in the CAA Stats: In the latest CAA Statistics (games through Nov. 7), redshirt junior Christian McLaughlin is third in assist average (0.47) and tied third in total assists (7).
Redshirt senior goalkeeper Justin Epperson is first in shutouts (8) and shutout average (0.47) and third in goals-against average (1.15).
