RICHMOND, Va. - James Madison's Ginger Mak received CAA Women's Golfer of the Week accolades after strong play at the JMU/Eagle Landing Invitational.
Mak, a sophomore, finished tied for 15th among the individuals after carding 74-74-74-222 (+6) on the 6,282-yard, 72 par Eagle Landing Golf Course in Orange Park, Fla. It marked her second straight top-20 finish and fourth in seven tournaments this season. Mak led the Dukes to a 12th place team finish among tough competition.
JMU returns to the course on Mon.-Tue., March 19-20 at the 2012 Pinehurst Challenge. Hosted by the College of Charleston, the two-day, 54-hole tournament will be played at Pinehurst Resort #7 in Pinehurst, N.C.
