RICHMOND, Va., April 19, 2011 - For the second time this season, junior Bertrand Moulin (Lyon, France/Aux Lazaristes Minimes (Wayne State)) and sophomore Greg Vladimirsky (Coral Springs, Fla./Broward Virtual) have earned Colonial Athletic Association Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week accolades.
Last week, Moulin and Vladimirsky went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles, including two wins against the top doubles squads of nationally-ranked programs. The three wins kept their dual-match record perfect at 7-0 this spring, all at No. 1 doubles.
They posted an 8-2 victory last Wednesday over George Mason's Jordan Borsanyi and Jorge Osuna to open the week. On Friday, the duo defeated No. 45 VCU's top doubles team of Jamie Vazquez and Camill Salomon, 8-3. Moulin and Vladimirsky closed out the week on Sunday with an 8-5 win against Ivan Salec and Thomas Dehaen of No. 74 Radford.
Two weeks ago, JMU's top doubles duo earned CAA Doubles Team of the Week for the week ending April 3, the first of each of their careers.
