PRINCETON, N.J., May 11, 2012 - After one day and three events at the 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships at the William Weaver Track and Field Stadium in Princeton, N.J. the James Madison track and field team had only two participants.
Senior Jess Zozos (Glenshaw, Pa./Shaler) finished 23rd in the 10,000-meter run. Zozos crossed the line in 37:35.77, outside the scoring range.
Also, competing on day one was sophomore Christianna Moss (Montpelier, Va./Patrick Henry). Moss competed in the discus throw but was unable to record a mark due to fouls.
Action at the ECAC Championships resume tomorrow, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. Madison kicks off competition on day two with the 4x100-meter relay.
