The best piece of advice I've received is
to always trust in God and believe in yourself.

I chose to come to JMU because I wanted to be a part of a university that prides itself upon academic excellence, and to make an impact on the track program.

My favorite non-track and field memory is graduating high school on my 18th birthday.

My favorite track and field memory was winning a state championship in the 100-meter hurdles as a senior and being ranked in the top 25 in the nation.

Something about me that would surprise people
is I am part Italian.

The accomplishment of which I am proudest is running my personal best with a time of 14.05 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles.
My favorite thing about track and field is the bond you develop with your teammates.

A person who is an inspiration to me is Lolo Jones, because watching her over the years has motivated me to become a better athlete/hurdler.

The one thing I miss most about my hometown is my family and friends.

The one thing I can't live without is my mother's excellent cooking.

If I could invent something, the absolute best thing to invent would be a cure for any type of cancer out there, because everyone deserves a second chance.

My favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles.
