Led the team and ranked 10th in the CAA with 113 tackles, including 61 solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for a loss and two sacks... Added one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and nine passes defended...  Had seven or more tackles in 10 of 13 games, with 10 or more in six of them... Picked up a career-high 14 tackles, including two for a loss, in home-opener against Central Connecticut State... Named CAA Defensive Player of the Week after recording six tackles, one tackle for a loss, two pass breakups and a forced fumble in win at William & Mary... Tallied 11 total tackles with 0.5 tackle for loss and one pass breakup in the NCAA Second Round game at North Dakota State... Posted 10 tackles in the playoff win at Eastern Kentucky... 2010: Started 10 games at linebacker earning his first letter...  Recorded 90 tackles including 9.5 for loss helping the defense earn a number two ranking in the CAA and earning CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year honors... Notched 13 tackles including one for loss and a forced fumble in a win over FBS No. 13 Virginia Tech, earning CAA Co-Rookie of the Week honors... Made 13 tackles and broke up one pass against Liberty, garnering CAA Rookie of the Week honors for the second straight game... Recorded 2.5 tackles for loss in an eight-tackle effort versus Delaware... Had 13 tackles for the third time of the season at Towson, including 1.5 for loss and a quarterback hurry... Recorded a season-high 10 solo tackles at Villanova including one for loss and a pass break up... Made 10 tackles or more in five games as a freshman.

2009: Redshirted as a true freshman and retained the year of eligibility.

High School: Rated by ESPN.com as a top 150 prospect while at Edison High School... In 2008 was district defensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-District at running back and linebacker and First-Team All-Region at linebacker... Gameday Magazine selection as First-Team All-Region at linebacker... Inducted into the Fairfax County Football Hall of Fame... As a senior had more than 130 tackles, averaged 10.4 yards per carry and scored 24 touchdowns.
