  • Finished the season ranked fifth in JMU career history with a .403 three-point percentage and sixth with 90 blocks
  • Missed time early in the season with a groin injury
  • Returned from injury with 17 points in 19 minutes in win over Winthrop. Connected on a three-pointer less than 10 seconds after first checking into the game.

2009-10:

  • JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete
  • Started JMU's first two games but left the second (Murray State, Nov. 20) after a hard fall and missed three games.
  • Limited by a back problem and didn't play after the Dec. 5 game with Georgia State. Will seek a medical redshirt for the 2009- 10 season.
  • Played 32 minutes - one off his career high - and had eight points and a rebound in JMU's opener at Ohio State.
  • Had two points and a rebound in 12 minutes before leaving the Murray State game.
  • Returned to action Dec. 2 vs. Norfolk State and had 12 points and four rebounds in 20 minutes. Blocked two shots and had an assist. Scored five-straight JMU points on two free throws and a three-pointer to give JMU a 65-55 lead with 3:23 left during the Dukes' 72-64 victory.
  • Matched his season high of 32 minutes vs. Georgia State and had a three-point field goal, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

2008-09:

  • Played in all but one JMU game and started Dec. 3 at Longwood until becoming ill during halftime Feb. 7 vs. George Mason. Didn't play again until the Feb. 21 Gardner-Webb game. Missed the Texas-El Paso game because of illness and didn't play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
  • Shot 86.5 percent from the foul line, a JMU freshman season record and its No. 3 season mark overall. Led CAA players in free throw percentage. Hit on his first 10 career free throws. Had a streak of 25 straight successful free throws, since Jan. 24 vs. Hofstra, ended March 7 vs. George Mason.
  • Jan. 31 at UNC Wilmington had a JMU then-season-high 25 points, including 23 during the final 12:55. Had 17 of 19 JMU points during one period. Later hit on two free throws at the 1:10 and 0:21 marks.
  • Led JMU with 16 points vs. Old Dominion at home Jan. 28. Tied for the team rebounds lead (5) in a then-career-high 32 minutes.
  • CAA Rookie of the Week Feb. 2 for his play vs. Old Dominion and UNC Wilmington.
  • At Georgia State Feb. 4 had 11 points and a team-best five rebounds.
  • Had 17 points vs. Florida Atlantic in the Preseason NIT. Hit on eight of 10 shots, including a three-point attempt.
  • Had 12 points and a season-high seven rebounds vs. Kennesaw State. Hit on three of four shots from the field and on each of his six free throws. Had three assists.
  • Had 10 points, a rebound and an assist in 27 minutes at Morehead State. Hit on each of his four shots, including two three- point tries.
  • Had nine points, five rebounds and then- season highs of four assists and two steals at Fordham.
  • Had six points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocked shots in 20 minutes vs. Belmont. His layup with 13:52 to play put JMU up to stay, 45-43.
  • Vs. Drexel, had six points, three rebounds, a block and a steal in 23 minutes. Had the block with 0:33 left and JMU up 59-58.
  • At George Mason, had six points, six rebounds and a season-high five assists in a then-season-high 31 minutes.
  • Vs. Towson at home, had 10 points and tied his career rebounding high with seven in 25 minutes.

 


Before JMU:

  • Spring 2008 signee after Matt Brady's hiring as JMU's head coach.
  • First Team selection to the Virginia Independent All-State team as a member of Blue Ridge School's 21-8 state semifinalist team as a senior. Averaged 14 points and seven rebounds.
  • Played as a junior at Notre Dame Academy and as a sophomore at Montrose Christian.
  • Averaged 15 points and seven rebounds on Notre Dame's state title team as a junior.
  • On Montrose Christian's 20-2 team as a sophomore played with Division I signees Kevin Durant (Texas), Greivis Vasquez (Maryland), Taishi Ito (Portland), and Ben Thomas (JMU).
  • Member of the Russian National silver medalist 16-and-under team and played with the 18-and-under Russian National team at last summer's European Championships.
